DUXSON'S CHOICE

My last chance...

Dog Animation

I tried the lock on the door. It wouldn't move. Then, I remembered the keys. One of them must open the door. Oh, I had to hurry because I could hear the Rotten gang coming down the stairs. I fumbled the key...

At last the door opened. I had found my Portia. She was chained by her collar to a post. Of course, I wanted to show my feelings but we detectives don't like to do that. It ruins our style. The collar had a large lock. Maybe the keys I found at the subway station would free Portia. We tried it immediately. We didn't have much time. Sure enough the collar sprang open just as the Rotten gang came through the door.

"Where are you two going?" It was my nemesis Ronnie, that arch villain. Just before it was to get nasty we heard them, that wonderful sound: police sirens. We were safe. My Portia was safe. Apparently Miss Pooch didn't think much of my protection and detection abilities and called the cops. Just as well she did. Now Portia could have a bath and fluff her fur and the Rotten gang would be spending a long time as jail and junkyard dogs. As for me, well, I'll always be the same old Dux.
