I have seen a photo of she and me, and them. It is ironic that they are all laughing at me. All of them; a collective. Yet she is not related to them . . . except by marriage. I wonder whether it was a struggle for her; marrying a man with seven children. She tells me, 'You just do what you have to . . . some things don't need much thinking about.'
