Serene Smile

Eyelids flutter open,
To reveal a nutty mischief.
Of silken skin,
And gentle face,
The serene smile finds it's place,
Nestled amidst rosy cheeks,
That softly tell of things to meet.
When I close my eyes to sleep,
Like a fire burning deep,
I see an image delicate and mild,
The fragile beauty,
The serene smile.
