PAGE FOOTNOTES:  The reference to Kurt Vonnegut in the title of this page is a nod to a master who dealt with leaping back and forth through one's own timeline far better than I ever could, or can. This is the meaning of the current chapter, which will have us jumping about like Billy Pilgrim from Slaughterhouse Five. Fear not, though, there will be a reason, and an answer, as to the how and why of this odd storytelling, and near the end of the chapter, a full explanation of all that is of concern in this tale. Just ride along with the leaps, and construct the future-past as we go.
