Bubbles, bubbles everywhere.

This is one of the earliest strips, and it's still one of my favorites. I like that Ozy is something other than Bud Abbott to Millie's Lou Costello, here. He probably doesn't get enough strips to himself. He does have thoughts of his own, and this is one of them. It's expressed directly, almost dispassionately, but it's sort of heartbreaking. And for once, it isn't verbose (I know that's a failing of mine sometimes.) All in all, I wish I could capture this vibe more often.

(I remember thinking the same thing about bubbles, as a kid.)
