I still think this is a good strip--when I first showed it to people, it got from several people the sort of laugh that indicates recognition.

Still, a lot of the strips from around this time have a sarcastic quality that probably says something about my state of mind at the time. This is one example.

I also had just modified the strip's visual style some, and was still drawing (and lettering) a bit too small for some reason.
