Yes, but it is a subtle movement. In order to detect this difference with the
Northern Hemisphere you have to stick your head into the toilet bowl with a
flashlight/torch, then have a friend flush it. If you still cannot see the
counter clockwise movement, then stick your head into the water and you
should be able to detect the direction the water is flowing by its passage
between your ears.
