comic strip

This is classic Ozy and Millie, as far as I'm concerned. A melancholy philosophical musing broken up by a string of rhyming words that's impossible to take seriously. It doesn't help that one of the words is "beef."

The writing, with this one, went in reverse. I thought of some words that rhymed, then wrote all the dialogue leading up to it. I know, I make it sound deceptively easy. (It's like that axiom about how the formula for genius is to think of something really stupid, then say the exact opposite.) This strip was, quite simply, inspired. But the truth is, if you think of stuff like this day in and day out, once in a while some of it is going to be clever and funny.
