Portia never took the Subway. Why would she have a token in her apartment? I decided the token belonged to the dognappers. If they had a token they may use the Subway trains to get to their hiding place.

I arrived at the nearest subway station during the peak rush-hour in the afternoon. Never a good time to hunt for bad guys who usually hang out at night. I pushed past hundreds of businessdogs on their way home. I needed to see where the trains were going.

Suddenly, through all those legs and bodies, I saw something glisten on the platform. It was a set of keys. This needed closer inspection. Using my keen eyesight I just made out a name engraved on each key. It said "Millie's". Hmmm!
